This opportunity is open to candidates at both the Analyst and Sr. Analyst level, depending on experience and qualifications.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
    • Strategy & Innovation Analyst: $74,000 - $95,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Strategy & Innovation Sr. Analyst: $84,500 - $112,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Foster Innovation:  Lead the conception and setup of innovation pilots and tests according to the innovation management pipeline.  Engage with external ecosystem partners to identify and evaluate opportunities.  Help build a culture of innovation within the organization.
  • Research & Analysis:  Conduct comprehensive market, industry, and competitor research to unearth trends, gaps, and innovation opportunities. Dive deep into emerging technologies and opportunities within the insurance and insurtech sector and evaluate their significance and potential impact on our organization. 
  • Culture Shaping:  Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in corporate innovation. Share knowledge with the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation excellence. Apply design thinking and lean startup principles to generate, validate, and refine ideas for new solutions that create value for our customers.
  • Impactful Communication & Collaboration:  Prepare and deliver clear, compelling reports and presentations to convey insights and recommendations from innovation projects. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Program Management:  Assist in planning, managing, and executing our innovation programs, including goal setting, resource allocation, progress monitoring, and outcome evaluation. Collaborate closely with the Corporate Innovation Manager and cross-functional teams to drive program success.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, design, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in corporate innovation, product development, or similar role.
  • Experience with design thinking, lean startup, business model canvas, customer journey mapping, prototyping, testing, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Ability to generate and evaluate ideas from various perspectives.
  • Excellent presentation skills, conveying complex concepts clearly.
  • Genuine drive for learning, experimenting, and driving growth.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment.
